Jerry R. Shockey, M.D.
Dr. Shockey is AAFP Board Certified in Family Medicine and he belongs to the Arizona Medical Association. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta, Canada. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at University of Calgary. He is an Aviation Medical Examiner, and has been practicing medicine in Mesa since 1991.
Dr. Shockey has been actively involved in Clinical Research for the past 15 years. He has co-authored articles on antibacterial therapies and new diabetic treatment regimens. He is the Primary Investigator on studies including treatment of arthritis, migraines, high blood pressure and numerous vaccine studies.
In 2011 and 2014 Dr. Shockey was recognized in the Phoenix Magazine as one of the "Top Docs" in Family Practice. Dr. Shockey resides in Mesa with his family. He enjoys mountain biking, swimming and kayaking.
David Shockey, M.D.
Dr. David Shockey is an Arizona native who went to Mesa Mountain View High School and graduated from Arizona State University summa cum laude with bachelor's degrees in Biological Science and Psychology.
He obtained his Medical Degree (M.D.) from UT Health San Antonio, graduating first in his class. He then completed a residency at the University of Arizona in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Shockey is a certified Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) and can perform Class I, II and Class III examinations and certifications. He has a love for wilderness medicine and global health, having traveled to all seven continents and participated in expeditions to Mt. Everest Base Camp, Mt. Kilimanjaro, and Antarctica.
He founded and runs the Desert Premier Wellness Program. He has presented and published research in high-altitude medicine and point-of-care ultrasound. Occasionally he works as a "ringside doc" for various sporting events and works as an emergency physician in Scottsdale.
In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, pickleball, basketball, and working toward his private pilot license.
Jeremy Derickson, PA-C
Jeremy Derickson, PA-C is a graduate of A.T. Still University, Mesa, AZ, with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from Northern Arizona University.
PA Derickson is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay and is fluent in Spanish. He also served as a paramedic in rural Arizona. PA Derickson resides in Mesa with his wife and two children. He enjoys hiking, paddleboarding and swimming.
Shea Sullivan, PA-C
Shea Sullivan graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She then went on to receive her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University- Glendale.
She has previously worked in Family Medicine and Pediatrics. Her particular areas of interest are Diabetes, Mental Health, and Nutrition/Weight Loss.
Shea is an Arizona native and grew up in Gilbert. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys doing medical humanitarian work with DO Care International. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, music, and spending time with family.
Debbie Page, FNP-C
Debbie Page is a Family Nurse Practitioner who believes that patient care should be a provider’s first priority. She understands the importance of health and well-being, making this and disease prevention a significant part of every visit. She has experience with, and a passion for, Women’s Health.
Debbie is board certified in primary care as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. She grew up in Scottsdale and has lived in Arizona most of her life. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with her family and dog.
